Robin has spent many years working in the nonprofit sector as a volunteer, project manager, and later as the director of INEX – Association for Voluntary Activities, an organization focused on intercultural education. He also worked in cultural diplomacy as the director of the Czech Centre in Bucharest. Additionally, he has taught courses on modern history and political thought in the Central European context at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. At STEM, he co-coordinates the Network for the Protection of Democracy.

In his free time, he enjoys cycling and wandering in nature.
