Vendula has been part of STEM since the fall of 2024, having joined the team alongside the Network for the Protection of Democracy, which she coordinates. She gained experience in bridging expert knowledge with civil society advocacy while working for an organization dedicated to systemic change in the fields of democracy protection and good governance, where she was involved in developing the Network from its inception. She holds a degree in International Relations and has worked as an analyst in organizations focused on global development, civic education, and public participation. She is passionate about facilitation, youth participation, and process design.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking in the mountains, foraging for mushrooms in the forest, and making biochar in her garden. In scouting, she engages with topics related to the climate crisis, participation, and sustainability. She has a fondness for moss, ferns, and polka-dotted bicycles.
